Kerstin Wagner
About. News. Contacts.
I’m Kerstin Wagner. From June 2026, I will be working as a research associate at Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin (HWR Berlin) in the BMFTR-funded project PROVIS – investigating how predictive and prescriptive analytics can be meaningfully applied in public administration management, with the aim of developing an open-source forecasting tool.
Previously, I worked at Berliner Hochschule für Technik (BHT) in faculty VI “Computer Science and Media,” where I contributed to the Students Advice project – a course recommendation system based on student data to reduce the risk of dropping out, developed with active student involvement.
Over the years and after working in industry and government, I’ve learned that my work needs to be diverse above all and allow me to try out new things - and research is probably the best way to do that.
In my spare time, I like to be outdoors ![]()
